Bungee Jumping Guide

September 26th & 27th 2009 was a record breaking weekend for Bungee Jumping. Having successfully jumped 297 brave bungee’rs; we proudly took the record for the most ever in one weekend!

However, ‘Resting on Laurels’ isn’t in the Extreme Element dictionary unfortunately, so this year we’ll be going flat out to make it bigger, better and bungee brilliant as we aim to leave last year’s memory behind with an even more marvellous weekend!

Now that the summer is slowly creeping up on us and the sun is shining, it’s time to fire up the London crane again and prepare for another fantastic weekend of sun, scenery and shots of adrenaline as we announce the dates for London’s only bungee jump of 2010.

To cope with the insatiable demand from extreme thrill seekers desperate to take the Capital plunge; we’ve got two cranes this time and we’re literally brimming with excitement at the prospect of 2010 being twice the size and twice as good as 2009!

Tandem Jumpers Loving It!

Naturally last year was an achievement we were extremely pleased with, but the record meant nothing in comparison to the experience and the atmosphere of the day.

Tower Bridge was buzzing with bungees as swarms of Extreme Element T-Shirt-wearers eagerly awaited their turn to clamber into the crane and jump the Capital City’s only bungee of the year. The weather was a perfect accomplice, with the sun shining beautifully all weekend and lighting up the stunning scenery & architecture of London City, adding an unbeatable extra to our favourite bungee jump experience.

As we sat back on the gardens and enjoyed the adrenaline packed atmosphere, we watched people jumping backwards, forwards, somersaulting and much more as the crowd cheered and roared each daring jump.

The crane didn’t stop from 9am untilņpm on both the Saturday & Sunday, yoyo-ing up and down to 160ft for each jump. The surrounding crowds were treated to a visual spectacle up close and from afar as they passed the crane in the busy Pottersfield Park.
